Choosing Joy and Self-Love Becoming the Truest Version of Me

Choosing Joy and Self-Love: Becoming the Truest Version of Me

Thank you all for your patience and your love. I have been living my own life for a while now, and I realize that you may not have seen me coming. There are many reasons for this, but the biggest one is that I wanted to be ready.

Being ready to be ready is one thing. Being ready to be seen in the public eye as your true self is something else entirely. That is where I find myself now.

When My Path Begins to Change

As I have grown throughout my life, I have come to several realizations, the biggest of which is that I had outgrown the original path I had given myself.

As I move through life, I get to decide my own path. My path is derived from my choices.

What I learned through being the objective observer of my own lovely life was that I had made some choices I did not wish to keep revisiting. For those of you whom this impacted the most, I am sorry. If you felt as though you were not loved, that was not it.

I simply chose that the life I was living, as my true self, no longer aligned with those who had been on my original path. It was not through any fault of mine or yours.

It was simply that my path had changed. Through being able to work from home and no longer interacting with the people I had come to surround myself with, my life took a different direction. That path no longer included everyone who had originally been part of it.

The Unexpected Blessing of Stillness

Over time, I came to understand that I made different choices when I was no longer interacting with the same people I used to come into contact with all the time.

It was a true benefit and blessing that came through the period of isolation during the COVID era.

During that time, I continued along the same path of social isolation I had always known. I had never really been a social butterfly, so to speak. I went places, had friends and lovers, but I never really went out in search of others. They always seemed to find me.

What happened during that period of isolation was that I stopped interacting in the same way.

In doing so, I kept up with the spiritual processes that had been part of my life for years, including processes I had developed through working with people all around me.

It turns out that when I keep doing the same processes for de-stressing, even when there isn’t the same stress, I create an entirely new outlook.

I Choose Joy

My new outlook is that I choose joy.

I am safe. I am happy. I have fun no matter what I am doing, and that is joy.

I choose now to be joyful, blissful, and free.

For those of you who may have seen the old version of me and thought she was still someone you could interact with in the same way, I apologize for not telling you sooner.

That girl no longer exists. She evolved. She changed.

She changed the way she wears her hair. She changed the way she dresses. She changed the way she eats.

And more importantly, she changed the way she thinks.

The new version of “Rachelle” is a girl who loves herself completely.

It is through loving myself completely that I can then embrace the world in a new way.

When I say a new way, what I mean is that I choose to be joyful now, as the same girl I was on the day I was born.

With no baggage. No regrets. No lies. No cheating. No stealing. No need to define myself through friends, family, or anyone else’s expectations.

Just joy.

Letting Go and Allowing Myself to Be

As this process unfolded, I didn’t do much. I just kept being me.

If something didn’t feel good anymore, I just let it go. I didn’t go in search of things that did not align with me or feel good.

Why am I writing this now?

Well, over time, I became deeply perceptive and intuitively able to sense others’ thoughts and energy.

If I don’t respond, it isn’t because I didn’t have the opportunity to sense what you were thinking. It is because I didn’t want to share in that thought pattern or become part of it.

I choose me. I choose love. I choose joy.

And I welcome those who are ready and willing to be their true selves to show up and show me who they are.

I no longer choose to revisit the old times, the old ways, or conversations that keep me focused on how things have always been. That’s not fun for me.

What I welcome are the beautiful possibilities of who I am becoming.

What I welcome are those who are ready and willing to be the change.

If you are ready and willing to embrace pure potentiality, then that is what I want to talk about.

That is what I am.

I allow myself to be ultimately joyful, blissful, and free.

An Invitation to Live in Love

Thank you for taking the time to read about who I am now.

There is no need to guess.

I am a girl who chooses to focus on love.

For what is love, if not the ability and willingness to believe in yourself, to respond lovingly no matter what is going on around you, and to believe that others can and will do the same?

That is the utopia I wish to live and breathe in.
